Francis let me borrow his 180a MIG wiht Argon. I finally got to mess with it today. This is by far easier to weld with over the gassless stick I bought first. I have already filled some holes in the Camaro engine bay, filled in the license plate holes in the Mini trunk lid and filled the Mini's second set of wiper holes.

I have sooooooo much I want to do now.

Thank you VERY much Francis. I am actually getting things done now. :ok:

That's cool. Funny you mention welding as I'm getting ready to get certified in all 6 areas w/in the next 9 mos. Figure since Uncle Sam wants to pay me 1500 a month to go to school, may as well oblige. :D Once I'm done w/ that I may work on an electrical degree of some sort.

So what's new? Get the block yet?

Yup... Motor is in the other garage all wrapped up. I want everything cleaned up before I put the motor in.

So far I have removed all visible holes on the wheel wells and have cut access to below the fuse box. I intend to hide the ugly ABS block under there. We will see if I can do it before I leave though.

yeah me too, I'll have my Lincoln Mig 220 by Feb:)

I've got all kinds of projects for that when I get it:)

I actually got dive certifications because I wanted to be an underwater welder when I got out, BUT, I have pressure issue's below 100ft with my ears, so had to scratch that Idea:(

You any good, lets see those welds...
