Wondering, is there any provider (like T-Mobile, Verizon, etc.) who offers prepaid-cards with data plan (e.g. with something like 200-300megs)? That is, mainly data plan ...

I asked the last time I went back, and they wanted me to buy a one month service, or something like that. I couldn't just buy a card.

One month service would be fine, too ... (if it's available to non-US-nationals) Just not any longer, and preferably not requiring the contract to start on the first of the month ...
