can i ship to an apo adresse in germany , or does an apo allways have to be shipped to the states first ? because shipping is a lot cheaper and quicker if i could send it to germany directly  i mean would it work if i where to ship it to germany and use the normal apo adresse ? or would the germans dont know what to do with it

I am not exactly sure what you are asking, but I will give it a shot. The APO address is not technically in Germany. For APO's here the package is sent from the shipper via USPS to New York. From there it is shipped by military means to the designated Base Post office. If you are trying to ship an item from Germany to an APO address in Germany the package would go from Germany to New York and then back. I just had some items shipped APO to APO from England. It took a little over a month to get here (about 5 weeks). |

okay thanks. so shipping to an apo will allways go to New York first ? The main thing is : i'm in holland and whant to ship to an apo adress from somebody who is stationed in germany but currently deployed so i should put USA at the bottom of the apo adress and not germany ? ( so the postal workers here know where to ship is to) thanks. |
