F-Body Europe

Well, the Air Force finally decided it was time for us to leave Germany. They are sending me to Barksdale AFB near Shreveport LA. I'll probably work another year to get my workshop up and paid for. We are excited about the move. This will be my third time at Barksdale. I was there in the mid 70s on active duty, from 86-92 as an Air Reserve Technician, and going back as a civilian so it should be interesting. Linda and I loved it when we were there before. That is where I was when Linda and I met and then got married. It should be fun. Red River Raceway is about 45 minutes away. We both will miss Germany. We have had a lot of fun over here and met a lot of nice people. While we are sad to leave, it will also be good to get back.

Sorry to see you leaving , but good luck and everything in Lousiana. When is your last day here?

Don't have a firm date yet since I don't have orders. It will probably be the end of August. I'll post it when I know for sure.
