Well, today was a very sad day at the Montgomery house. I'm depressed. I had to ship the Camaro today. Now I'm sure we are both lonely. We won't get to see each other again for over a month. I sure hope Harms takes good care of her for me. The guy who did the inspection was shocked. He couldn't find anything. He commented that it looked better than a lot of the new cars he ships. At least we will be back together for Cruising the Coast in October. I just wish I could have taken her to Bitburg one more time. Oh well, it was a lot of fun as long as it lasted. At least I'll have dragstrips close by. When I'm at work, Red River Raceway is about 45 minutes away. When I'm at the house in Mississippi, there is a quarter mile track less than half an hour away and an eighth mile track about 45 minutes away. Should be some fun times in the future.

We will probably fly out on the 2nd, but don't have that for sure yet. I have to get trans to book the flights. The last of the furniture should leave the house on31 Aug and we'll be gone shortly after that. I was supposed to be at Barksdale on 29 Aug, so I don't guess I'll make that.

I'll always be on the board from time to time. Hate to leave, but looking forward to getting back. It has been really good while it has lasted, but all good things have to come to an end. As soon as I get my workshop built, I have some other cars to start on. Should be able to stay busy, as long as the money holds out.

3rd Kaiserslauter Classic - Saturday, 21 August 2010 in Kaiserslautern.

Historical cars will be on display in the Kaiserslautern pedestrian zone from 10 a.m. until midnight.
Collectors, vintage vehicle friends, motor sport clubs and association will present their vehicles the entire day.
Entertainment includes music from the 50s, 60s and 70s. French music and tango will be presented from 11:00 a.m. until 3 p.m. near the fountain in Riesenstrasse, Rock 'n' roll near Stiftskirche and jazz on Schillerplatz.
From 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. listen to rock 'n' roll on Schillerplatz

Stores in the center and all other areas stay open until midnight.

I probably won't make it, but would like to. Just too much to do getting ready for the movers. Amazing how much crap you collect in 9 years and then have to get rid of.
