Does anyone know a good place to take my ride for this? I called one place in the KA, and they gaurentee to pass the agricultural inspection, and they want DM 280 after VAT! Thats ridiculous! Are there any other that anyone knows of? Id clean it myself, but thers no gaurentee that it will pass. Second inspections are impossible to get... |

Dude..I drove to Mainz, stopped at the first car wash I saw, paid 7dm to wash it, then went and turned my car in. The agriculture inspection took about 5 min. They will look at your floorboards, shine a flashlight around your engine, and look in your hatch area (this is where they get most people, just pick the lint and fuzz that hangs onto that fabric because it doesnt vaccum real well. They may reach behind your rear bumper (those little places where dirt tends to gather). Hell, they didnt even put my car on the lift, just did it inside the bay. |

Yeah Greg If you keep it clean and and check the fenderwells good you are almost guarantte to pass. |

Sounds like I saved DM 280! I didnt know what was involved in the inspection. If its like that, I'll have no problem doing it myself. Thanx! |

Hey Greg, theres a place here in Wurzberg that does that very thing. They charge 140 DM but they shampoo your seats, wash and wax, steam clean the enging, wash the undercarrage, detail the interior, ect... I wanted to take my car there just for the hell of it. |
