I took a PT test this morning, and I barely, and I mean barely passed my push-ups. I'm not gonna get too specific, but let's just say I didn't break 50!! :O I know, I know, but I was so out of shape. I maxed the sit-ups and got a low 14 on the run, but push-ups kicked my azz today!! :(

Besides, Bruce, my old platoon sergeant works over there now, and he is great to work for!! ;)

I do about 20 sets of 25 push-ups throughout the day on Mon, Wed and Fri and the same with sit-ups but on Tue and Thurs. Just get down and knock out a set whenever I am not too busy. In 13 years I have never not maxed an APFT.

Yup, I'll spend the next year in school, the 3 after that in a unit and the last 3 in ROTC or recruiting or something just as lame.

So really, I only have 3 years of work left ;)

MmmmmmHmmmmmm...

The grass is always greener on the other side!!! The Army and AF both have their distinct advantages and disadvantages. I really must say that I can't complain. Been pretty good to me so far!!!

I've worked very closely with the Air Force, and I've heard the types of things they complain about. I know that some things suck, but knowing what I know now...... I've had a good time, too, but all that TDY!!!

We have formation @ 0600 to salute the flag when it goes up. Then we run monday wed fri. varying distance from 2.5 miles-5 miles. short distance means hills. Tues we do upper body, sand bag, partner resisted stuff, or pyrimids and thurs we play soccer. sometimes we do pt in BDU and boots thru the German forest. It is fun if you keep it interesting.

LOl, my old platoon sergeant, the one who is at customs, used to make us do ruck runs with a platoon log every Wednesday. It had a dog tag with each of our names on it, if we carried it! :D
