Looks like I'll get a different GPS planer, so I won't need this one anymore. Just recently gotten through ebay, perfect condition, USA version (America Highways basemap), with car socket (installs nicely with a strip of velcro), computer cable, car power connector. You can load several maps onto it, which include detail down to street level. Plan detailed trips and enjoy cruising wwithout ending up too far from where you're going Also, go somewhere, record the way you drove, and just reverse the course to get back home ... Or upload the course to your PC, and laugh over the wrong turns you made ... Includes pretty detailed trip computer (w/ average speed, top speed, altitude, milage, etc.); setable to km, miles or nautical. Use it anywhere, driving, hiking or on the boat ...
German detail maps included (plus some other goodies), so you won't ever get lost in Germany again ... For further technical detail, check this: http://www.garmin.com/products/gpsIIIp/. The wrist strap mentioned there is not included, didn't get it myself ... also, the manual I only have on CD ...
