hey guys getting ready to leave germany and decided to get new cd player. as a result will be selling my monsoon cd player which works even if you don't have a monsoon system. it works with your steering wheel controls.

Must sell before I fly in the middle of January.

This came out of a 2001 trans am and I used it on my 1995 with no problems. So its a safe bet that its good for 1995 and up.

If it works on a 98 Camaro - what are you asking?

Garry,

I checked out the chevrolet monsoon system that goes in the camaro and it looks nothing like mine. My educated guess is that it will not work only on 95 up trans ams . SORRY

I have the full cable stuff in my 'maro - could make a pic of the plug ... got a reply that it should fit - do you have some kind of ID/model number on the changer?

What are you asking for it anyway?

Garry,

I can send those numbers down to you, remember that this is a monsoon CD player not a Changer.

I am asking 170.00 dollars for it.

I am still pretty sure that this will not fit your car and I would hate to sell you the wrong thing

Let me know if you still need the numbers off of it :o

Oh, so you're talking about the head unit ... hm ... not too bad either ... here's a pic of the rear side of mine ... should be halfway compatible ...

Hm ... according to some guy on another fbody board, it should work --- can you check out the plugs, if they line up?

Gil,

put it in today, electrically it works fine ... just the mounts are somewhat different, need to drill in an additional hole on both sides of the mount brackets ... money is on the way to Bruce, check with him if/when you can pick it up ...
