So things are coming along. I just need a few accessories that I think are lost forever in Tony's never never land. Any posibility anyone here has any of this stuff?

power steering pump with hoses
a/c compressor, condenser, and lines

Those are the expensive things ($550 from Billy Grahams Auto Salvage)
But I also need
an ignition coil and dipstick.

Man, that is sooooo fukked up Dave. I really wish you had never taken your car there. I know you do, too, but just thinking about it makes me cringe with anger. I really hope you get your car running soon man. ;)

Might be able to help with ps pump and a/c parts. Not sure on the condition of the hoses though. I do still have steal-braided hoses that might work. Siggy, in Kitzigen, still has the 4th gen Randy (92Z) sold to him. I got the heater core out of it not too long ago. I'll try and get down there tomorrow to find out what's left.

Just out of 'overweight' curiosity, how much weight do you drop taking out the a/c unit and how much shorter does it make the serpintine belt?
I'm eventually gonna shed mine once I get back to the states and was curious.

I would guess 30 or so lbs, and you dont need another belt, just get an AC delete pully ($50) and bolt in place of the compressor

zcam94: Thanks. I hope you can find that stuff easy. Please let me know soon and what you want for the stuff. I'm at Spangdahlem. Give me a call if you need to talk to me.

Predator: maybe, I might just order it from the states with the dipstick. I will let you know.

I didn't find out any info. My car was in the shop all day. I'll try to find out tomorrow.

Ryan said you can have his compressor. He's got the whole shabang. Are those parts all you need to be up and running?

Yeah John. That list is it. That is what the mechanic tells me. There might be some other very minor things that are needed when assembly is in progress. He is definitely someone that is reputable and knows what is going on with the LT1 motor. So am I reading he has all the parts on the list or just the compressor and assotiated pieces?

Thanks zcam94.

predator: I would like to take that a/c stuff off your hands if you are still willing. Soon as possible. How much you want for it?

John: I would also like to get the compressor and stuff from Ryan. How much for it? Also soon as possible.

If you guys are trusting of me, here is my address to MPS the stuff to me:
Dave Brooks
PSC 9 Box 4035
APO, AE 09123
Just let me know the price and address, a check will be in the mail the next day.

I'll just order the dipstick and coil from the states.

Dude you ever heard of GK autoteli? They are GM distrubutor here and can have your parts next day. Won't cost an arm and a leg to do either. Order the coil from there along w/ your dipstick tube. Ryan gets his stuff from him ALL the time. Call Ryan and he can get you the number. Call after 6 tonight though.

0160-984-69905
0160-620-8816 that's mine incase you don't reach him I'll be at his house tonight as well.

Dave, any chance of seeing you run in Bitburg on Oct 3-5? Wish you'd finally get the car running again ...
