Just a little update...
Jack... the interior is out of the car. I am not sure what is left, but Siggi says that there is stuff left in a box that he will get out, from storage, and let me go through it on Mon. He said also that some of it went to a guy doing a referb of a Camaro, that had tan interior and wanted the gray/black look instead. So I don't know what all he got. More to follow
John... the air dam, isn't on the damn car. I think it might be with the interior stuff. I will get back with you on the results.
I have a question... I am looking into getting the rearend. I checked the codes and found a GU2 for the gear ratio. Now, looking in my trusty Chilton, I have 3.23 in my '95 V6, and this '96 Z28 has 2.73. Is this weird?

Rob,
I hate to bring the the news but the V-6 motored cars had to have a better gear ratio to get the car moving since they lacked in the cubic inches area. The V-8's didn't need the taller gear to get it moving since the torque was so much better than the V-6's. I hope that this helps.
Later dude!

Well after checking out the rearend, with the help of SS396, the shaft is bent. And all the interior stuff went to that guy that was doing the referb. We looked all over for some of the interior parts, nothing. Found the back bumper and the DS door. Didn't even see the airdam. Sorry guys, maybe better luck with that 93 in Vilseck.

It's metalic blue. It got hit on the DS rear... so it depends on what part you are talking about. The right rear tail lights are missing, so I guess it was a casualty. But I saw the rear bumper, and the little piece that goes under the lights, that says Z28... it all depends on what you are talking about.

Ahhhh that thingie... I don't remember seeing it on the car, but I will check. That should be all one piece, right? I do remember seeing the Z28 thing, and that part is in the middle of the car, so it should be alright. I'll get back with you when I get a chance to go by there... I will be on 24h duty tonight so I could check in the morning after I get relieved.

Jack, found that part. Yep it's there... there is a little bit of damage on the far right corner. You can see about an inch of white fiberglass. The chevy bowtie is missing also, but the Z28 is still there. Sigi said that it is $50. If you want me to get it let me know and I will go and get it, we can settle the $ later.

Don't worry about it. If it was black, it would be a different story, but either way, I'll have to have it painted, so I might as well keep my current piece and paint that. Thanks! Do you know yet if you're staying..

Hey Rob, that beer drinking guy kicks ass!
I am in need of one of those seat belt holders that attach to the seat. The passenger one is broke on my ride. Not that it matters. My car has grown permantent jackstands. Man if I would have just ordered that engine from Nu-Tek, I probably would be rollin by now.

Sorry Dave, the seats went with the dude that was doing the referb. There is a leather Z28 steering wheel, with airbag, if you need one. So has my car, or your's been at Tony's longer?

Actually they are kneck and kneck. Depends on if your car went straight to Tony's or spent some time somewhere else. Yours blew up at the race and I took mine the following week. So basically, you got me by a week.

Well, my died on that Halloween Weekend, but I had it sent to the Opel. Big mistake! They wanted to put a new engine in, and charge I can't remember how much, but it was alot. And then they started talking about labor costs. Well I then went to the field, and when I came back talked to Tony about getting it over to his place, this was in mid Dec. So she has been down at Tony's since last Dec. It is due inspection in Mid Oct. Just wanted to vent... sorry.

Well it's mostly my fault for it being so long. Tony has alot to do, and looking for 3.4L performance parts has to rank pretty low. So after him giving up looking, I started, and found some stuff, but not much. I am about to give up, and once I get the cam, tell him to put it back together. Don't look to go on getting it 30 over.
