This guy up in Wurzburg has parted most of a 96 Camaro out. He still has the Rear axle, suspension parts, some interior and the rear valance.

Dude I got you a 700R4 tranny if you still want it. What does the guy want for the rear end? Does he still have the rims?

If you don't get rid of it - what do you want for it? Would it fit a '79 ?

Yeah, I still need a 700. How much for it. Maybe when you change rt1's trans I can pickit up and help. He still has the rear axle and wheels on it. Its at Siggi's garage, its close to rt1. His number is 09331-89070. Its a German place so sometimes it gets expensive. He also has an engine (LT1 36,000 miles)and trans out of a 96" Caprice for $3000.

Well went by there today after work. I talked to a guy, think his name was Larry, and I think he said $400 for the rear end. I hope he didn't mean $4000. Anyway, I only saw three rims, the right rear was the spare.
Rich, when are you coming down here to see Siggi? I just don't want you driving right by and not stopping for a beer or some chow.
Rob

Does he still have the interior panels? If so I want them. I screwed mine up when I applied a certain paint remover. Door panels, kick panels, sail panels and the rear panels where the speakers go.

rt1, I'll be down next Friday 30 Aug. Training holiday. I should be at Siggi's by 10, then on to Hubspeed then possibly to Tony's.

Thanks rt for the info. Still trying to locate a rear end that will fit. I need to measure the axle shafts so when I come over we can go and take a look at it myself.
SS396--I am going over to my friends garage today and will try to remember to ask him about the 700R4. What are you going to do with the extra tranny?

I ask him if there are two good tires that would pass inspection? If so send me the price. I am willing to negotiate.

You know I want to Dave... I just don't think right now. I want to get it running now. Maybe later in the year. I just don't want to ever change the drums in my rear again.

Yo dude, I'm looking for a rear end to put under my TA. What rear end do you have? What carrier and what gear ratio do you have? Give me a call at the GP shop.

My rear is a factory 10 bolt out of a 97 formula. It will fit your car. I know this because Jaz bought the exact thing from Bruce to put in his 91 camaro. The gears are 3:42. I'll give you a ring tommorrow.

Hotrod, let me know what he wants for that R700. I have a 350 turbo now and want to put a R700 in because I got 4.11 gears and hopefully it will run better on the street. I'd sell my 350 turbo.
