For Sale: Garmin Street Pilot GPS navigation. Putting it up here before selling on ebay ;)
US Basemap with major highways built in, runs on either 6xAA batteries or 12V car jack, B&W display (lower power consumption when running on batteries!) w/illumination; comes with two cables (one w/car lighter jack, one w/computer serial port), 16MB & 64MB flash memory modules (plenty enough for several city detail maps loadable from PC), car mount (you will need some velcro to fix in your car). Can load/display any additional Garmin maps, both "Road & Recreation" (not quite as detailed) or the Metroguide (very detailed) - I will preload it with any maps you want (e.g. complete Germany R&R or greater area Metroguide or any combination), map files on CD.
Hardare is like new, no scratches on display, rarely used.

Selling for €450,- fixed (new would have been about twice the price - StreetPilot III sells for about 1600€ new)

Here's the official info-page from Garmin: http://www.garmin.com/products/streetPilot/

P.S: - no, it does not talk, it only beeps when you get close to your turn off point ... also has some nice features like speed warning, trip computer w/ average & top speed (pretty acurate, too!) etc.

The PC-Software lets you select multiple areas from the map data into the flash memory ... you can get map data for all of Europe, South Africa, Australia, and of course the US ... the basemap is only used for areas that you do not load data for ...
Btw, it's isolated, so you can use it on a bike, or boat for a fishing trip, too ..
