Hello everybody!
I just returned from the local TueV place and now have to part with the Flowmaster exhaust/muffler mounted on my Camaro.
There is absolutely no way i will get this entered into my papers for the car so i have to sell it.
It´s mounted on my 95 Z28, however afaik it should fit any 93 - 02 F-Body
The exhaust is in a good condition and has dual round 2,5" or 3" outlets and it´s loud. I mean LOUD. I´ve seen no serious corrosion and it does not rattle when you bang your fist on it, however i have no clue how old it is as i bought the car with the exhaust on it.
Will also trade for a (TAMER!) Borla, SLP or similar exhaust.
BTW: ANYBODY WHO HAS A STOCK UNIT PLEASE TELL ME! NEEDED FOR TuEV.
Rgds,
Dino

I think I have the stock V6 muffler still in my shed... i don´t need it for TÜV, but i don´t know if it will stay that way... if you can´t find any other one i could help you out.
And as far as I know there´s no way for any aftermarket exhaust to get it entered into the papers. (Lets talk about Gutachten )
Just the "hey, it came stock like this"- way...

I would let you try the SLP 2OTL, but I don't know if it would work. If you want to try it as a last resort, let me know.. We still need to get together anyway..

It´s called "Standmessung"
Meaning rev it up to 3/4 of the power band and wait.
Earned the TuEV guy a headache and sore ears.
Were talking bout 125 db here. Made the earth tremble.
Don´t know what Rob or the previous owner have done to this thing, however when i´m waiting at a stoplight at 600 revs, i literally FEEL the rebound from the road and the car shakes from the sound.
That coupled with a disfunctional tranny (missing 2nd gear) makes a NoiseMaster.
Sad but true, it has to go. Any serious takers?

I have the SLP D/D that came off my car after I put on the GMMG. I had to cut the pipe that drops down past the front of the rear axle to get it off though. I will post pics sometime this week after I get another battery for my camera. Let me know if you are interested.

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek
A 747 at takeoff sounds similar i guess... wow.
But then you still had a nice TÜV guy.
Because even when he measures noises he still just can guess the power gain and change in emissions

Afaik there should be no problem at alll. As Alex/Iroc has put a 4th gen exhaust on his IROC/Z...
They look real similar behind the rear axle
You up for the system?
Rgds,
Ram

Hey man I hate to do this but I made the mistake of talking to my wife about and she said I couldn't get it. That might make me sound like a wuss but meet my wife and you'll understand.

It's not like you had the deal sealed or anything. Everyone's wife is like that for the most part. Secrecy is key sometimes, though, as far as I'm concerned.
