they are almost 14kg = 31 lbs
they are made from some alloy, to be stronger than regular alluminium wheels

A 31pound rim THAT IS HEAVY. It better be strong for that weight. Too heavy for me .

I checked my GT3 wheels (for reference):
Front 18" x 8.5 = 11.1 Kg
Rear 18" x 11.0 = 12.3 Kg
We have slightly lighter wheels in our program, but the GT3 wheels are designed to take the punishment of Cup racing.
More trivial info: my brake disks weigh 8.4 Kg each (nearly the same weight as one of the Titanic's ship anchors). You need special brakes just to stop those big rotors.

Yes Roy, those are heavy as hell. I wouldn't want 18s anyway. I'm happy with the looks and feel of 17s. ;)
