Hey everyone,
There is a 2001 Camaro SS (T56) for sale locally here in Stuttgart. It has Dynatech Exhaust, T-Tops, 400W sound System, DVD player. Asking price is $13,900 OBO.
All I want is the engine, transmission, wiring harness and ECU. The rest of the car, including title, wheels, interior, sound system, exhaust system, etc., is yours!
Please help me to find a co-buyer!! I'm using the engine and tranny in my 93 RX-7 that is now without the rotary!
Thanks,
Kent

... guess the LS1 is the most interesting part of the car ![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif) So unless someone wants to drop a Diesel or something in it ... ![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif) (would be a nice project for a daily driver, though ... BMW 2L Turbo Diesel ... should make for some decent mileage ...)

Yeah, I know the engine is what people want around here. Does anyone know what sort of money can be made by parting out a full car? There are only 55k miles on it.
I'm just trying to explore all options for finding a LS1 and T56 out here in Germany. If only there was a wrecked one with the engine and tranny intact. But then again, I don't wish an accident upon anyone.
Does anyone have any ideas? Or cheap ways to ship one over from the states? (where they are plentiful)
Thanks!

You can check with people who get stuff over in a container ... some of the professional drag racers occasionally get larger shipments, and usually have some space to spare for small parts like a motor or tranny ![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif) (check on dragracer.de forum e.g.)

Some body would have to be a some type of Crazy retaded man Biatch to want to go in on a deal like that . The car would be basically worthless like that.
You would get a better deal from the states and have it shipped over here.
Although we do have one member that may sell his since it got totaled in an accident .

Thanks for the offer, but I'm looking for the LS to keep the weight to a minimum!

Just go to Schramauto.com They have LS1's, LS2's, and plenty of Vortecs with tranny's starting around 3k. With shipping, zoll/mwst. you're looking at around another $1200. Beats tearing up a perfectly good car.
just my 2$ worth (couldn't find the cents button ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif) )

fast400- Have you had them ship something like a motor? I am just curious if they are willing to jump through all the hoops since it will be a haz mat shipment.

I'll have to check it out later - eBay is blocked at work... Why is eBay blocked and Amazon.com not? Who knows....
I can see that the description says it is a ZR1, did that come with the LS motor, or the LT??

That one is a '90 from the description ... LT1 I presume (and from the looks)

Ah, well, an LT1 is nice, but I'm looking to save weight wherever possible, including the motor.
Thanks though!
