Well I finally got my car here and it won't pass inspection because it's too low. I just spent a ton of money on this car and I'm just tired of messing with it. If stock springs were put back on it it would pass inspection easily but I just don't feel like putting anymore time into this car. So because of this and the money I could make off of selling it could completely get me out of debt I'd like to see if anyone is interested in buying it. I am not in a hurry to sell it so I would put it out there for $15k and see if I get any hits. I know this is higher than blue book but like I said I'm in no hurry to sell it and I have a spreadsheet showing what I have spent on mods which exceeds $16K itself. More details can be found on my fquick site. I think the link is http://www.fquick.com/TopleSS or if that doesn't work just search for TopleSS on there and it should come up. If anyone's interested shoot me an email at camaro_brad22@yahoo.com. I can send pictures or any info on it.

It's too low? Doesn't look too low on the photo, strange... What minimum ground clearance is it supposed to have?

Yeah, if that's a current pic, I don't think the car as such is too low ... judging from the space in the wheel wells, it shouldn't be too bad ... get that exhaust tied up, and you should be good to go ... don't let any pipsqueek a-hole mess you up ..
Anyway, selling to a German should probably give you a pretty decent price ... even with customs and taxes, with current exchange rate you should get decent prices over here ... especially as SS Camaros are pretty rare over here ...

NOOOOOOOO! Don't give up so soon. You are letting "the German man" beat you. Go to Ramstein and you will pass with flying colors! Trust me. Have I failed you yet? View my post in your other thread. If you have to sell or are just wanting out and are willing to work a deal....I am always interested Especially yours. It is nice.

LOL mine is way lower than that I and I get through.
Here let me have it, I'll run it through inspection, get it passed and you can have it back.

Amen, don't give up too easy. Beat the a$$holes. It took me three times to get my exhaust through. I kept at it just because they pee'd me off. It'll take more than a couple them to beat me.

I've had my share of BS'ing officials trying to get my car registered in the German system ... in all I think it was something like 2-3 months ... do not give up!

Ok so if someone offers my asking price I still want to sell it but since that is unlikely to happen I'm going to start looking into fixing the problem. I know you guys said to check out Ramstein and see if it will pass there, I will do that but even if it does pass in it's present state I still want to get the exhaust fixed. I have a QTP catted Y-pipe on there that hangs LOW!! Even though the exhaust place in the states was supposed to bring it up as far as they could before welding it they didn't. If anything it hangs lower than before. I am thinking about getting an offroad y and having an exhaust shop around here make it work. Are there any good exhaust shops here that won't worry about taking cats off a car and welding up a straight pipe? Or are there any welders on here that want to help me out? My headers have flanges welded to them and I'm still unable to find a company that sells a y-pipe with flanges. I'm pretty sure the new exhaust would give me a good 1-2 inches more clearance.

Get with Paul on Ramstein. You can find him at the shop right behind/part of the inspection station.
Tell him Brian sent you and that he (I) will bring him his cone that I owe him. LOL.
