Folks
I have decided after hard deliberation ,to sell my 1991 AWD Ford Sierra Saphire Cosworth. The powertrain is in excellent condition, however the body rails are severely rusted out . Rusted enough that it will not pass any inspection. The engine is a 2liter 4cyl turbocharged built by Cosworth which was tuned by Suhe motorsports to 290 hp at 1.2 bar of pressure. This car three years ago on its one and only 1/4 mile run did a 13.01 sec run. It would of been considerbly quicker but I bungled shifting into 3rd gear. The car still runs the Weber Manarelli L8 engine management computer. The engine has 90,000 kilometers on it.

If you know of anyone that may be interested please pass the info. This would be an awesome swap into a Miata, or Merkur XR4TI, fox body 4cylinder mustang, or a thunder bird that came with a Lima 2.3 4cyl.
This won't go cheap but I am not asking the world for it either.

Hi Roy, a little late but congrats on selling the car so quickly! Also, watched a few of your vids. I bet you had weak knees after the spin out!!
I was riding shotgun at Mosport with a buddy of mine in his 98 SS and we started fishtailing on one of the last corners before the pits but he pulled it out. We were doing about 85 mph because he had slowed down a little but not enough for the corner. After that, we did a cool down lap then pitted to cool off some more. Went back out for the next round and everything was fine. Quite an experience since we have seen some cars that aren't so lucky.
Have a good one! Tom
