Just wondering if anyone in Germany would want to do it? This would be a complete trade that we could do it in a day? It needs to be a 98 or newer LS1 car to keep things simple.

You have an A4 or want an A4?

I´d happily give my automatic away.

I have a M6 and would like a A4. We could put them in the shop and do a complete transplant? there is 24000 miles on it with a Hurst shifter.

My only question is OBD II/OBD III? I do not think it would be a problem though.

Why you wanna do this anyway?
Tired of shifting?

Otherwise fine for me. However we lose the warranty ;-(

Gotta talk aboutthis.

I will modify that A4 to shift. I do not mind shifting actually I am pretty good at it. I would just would like a change and the automatic is more consistant for racing VS M6 is more fun to drive on the A-bahn? I have not heard many problems from the M6 other than clutch. And this one is good. You could test drive it before the swap if you want? We could put the cars side by side and go for it. We have all winter to get organized.

Bruce, it should be good... you are still using OBDII right... Once you trade the PCM's it should work fine...

Just read the damn lease agreement again. Says no mechanical alterations. Have to buy the car out first.
Anyway, i´ll take care of that. BTW: My A4 has only about 5.000 miles on it (zhe whole car has bout 10)
The first on shredded itself, i have a ´01 replacement inside (that´s what Opel said at least)

What do you want to do with that thing anyway? Build a steering wheel shifter?

Just curious!

OK I would be willing to do it but I must have your word on it. I am getting my computer program burned within the next couple of days 500 bones M6/A4 is a diffrent program. I will tighten the stock shifting up a little and install a 3200-3600 stall converter and shift it with a Hammer. I really need to know, we could do it in the craft shop in one day and drive it home. Please let me know It will be a complete trade. Yours for mine and we will do the install.
