well...i'm back to wreak havoc on you V8 boyz and girlz ;)....The 300zxtt was done and a blast to drive while I was home....I posted a message to rookie and jr. but for some reason it didn't show up....I was ready to take him up on that little offer for the highway run. Anywayz, I dynoed it and made 425rwhp and 426rwtq on a dynojet dyno. This was at ~18psi of boost on 93oct pump gas. Just bolt ons, no internal work done to the engine, not even cams(engine had 100,000+ miles). I cracked a piston ring right before I left, so I'm gonna have it rebuilt with forged pistons, a set of cams and larger turbos....goal for this summer with that car is 500+rwhp on pump gas with a broad power band. I have the dyno video taped and dyno sheets for you doubters and haters....matter of fact Glen ward seen it as well as butch(454 chevelle guy)...:)...what you got to say now Lus1fer!!!

I've got this to say:

Your car broke.

Go buy yourself a Skyline GTR.

Check out the Silver State Challenge too and see if you can find a Japanese winner there.

Your links aren,t working. As for the I6 vs. V6 , The I6 is a stronger engine design and is balanced naturally for harmonics. The V6 is and will always be a odd fire engine design . Although it can be made to produce gobs of power engine longevity is serious reduced as compared to an I6.

Why wouldn't you give up a 3.0L for a 5.7L, is a better question.

if yall's 5.7l was turbocharged from the factory, i would ;)....lemme say this again...425rwhp....bone stock engine internally...i'm building the engine back with forged pistons, that's all....new goal is 500+rwhp...no head work, maybe cams...all bolt on stuff....$ for $...i win...period!

Life is longer than a 1/4 mile . Most setups like that involve race gas all the time too run 500hp safely for a short period of time. But there are few exceptions . One that comes mind is RUF GMBH . 600hp at 6200 rpms 92 octane and run all day in boost .

Best of luck in keeping it together.

sorry homie...i build my cars for highway use only...i don't even like to dragrace....i never tune my cars for race gas...the 425hp is at my Rear wheels!!!! on 93oct pump gas, on the very smallest upgrade turbos you can by for a 300zxtt...I WILL DO 500+ rear wheel hp on pump gas....lemme say it again...500hp at the back tires...300zx's have ~18% drivetrain loss...you do the math ;)
