I was driving home yesterday and I noticed an older 5.0LX coming up on me. So I pulled over so we could be side by side. When he got up to me I gave him a rev and, he just stuck his hand out and tapped the top of his roof, I guess meaning...well I don't know what he meant. Anyway, this car was bad ass. Things I noticed: Huge cowl induction hood, skinnies up front, huge Mickey Thompson slicks in the back on Welds, roll cage, gauges everywhere, 4 inch exhaust ending under the drivers seat, racing seats, and best of all the paint job, had to of been a few G's spent on that! His car actually sounded nastier than mine so I was instantly intimidated, his car was shaking mine. But you know me I was like f**k it. We played cat and mouse for about 4 miles in traffic, up too that point I was not to impressed. Finally we got a break down this stretch of road where I usually race people. I was behind him, just waiting for the signal. he hit, I hit!(at about 55mph) I was about to run through him so I swung around him and at about 115mph I had 4 car lengths on him. I couldn't beleive it. So I pulled into my apartments and he followed. We got out to talk and he said "damn that thing will run" I just smiled. This guys car looked like something out of a magazine, he had the laptop, just all kinds of $hit. He popped his hood and I was like dayum. It was a 306turbo, minus the turbo though. He had single turbo kit which had been taken off for maintenance or something. I did not care, I won and he was shocked. He was really cool about everything, we talked for about 15 min. and he took off. I went home with a huge grin on my face...:) Sorry so long! Later, Mike

Good kill man!!

Tell him to put that hair-dryer back on. I'm sure he is tuned for boost, so with that 7 or 8:1 compression he better be carefull picking on the big dogs :).

Take it easy
Rob
