I finally lined up against my mate's '95 LT1 Trans Am (albeit he had a 16 stone passenger) and we let loose the dogs of war. Mine hooked so much better (GSC's vs Avon CR228's)and catapulted forward. We ran to about 80mph and I beat him by about 2-3 car lengths. We repeated the spectacle at the next set of lights for the benefit of a bewildered set of unsuspecting drivers who never imagined that nearly 600bhp could be legally unleashed with such ferocity. What a rush! Can't wait for a rematch when he hasn't got a weight disadvantage.
