Well - how much does a 'vette weigh (I recon that was a C5?) 3000+? A corsa is probably around 2000-2400 pounds at most I'd say - stick a different motor in there (I think they stock comes somewhere around 1300ccm?) and it should be able to beat the stock 'vette easily once it has traction ... as long as you do not know what a car has had done to it, don't bet on a "sure" winner ...

Well, i think this one takes the cake ...
Oh as for those corsa's .. the 16V 2L Turbo motor out of a Calibra 4x4 fits snuggly into the engine bay and has 204 hp stock.
With a performance chip it's easily 240 and with the right mods (better downpipe, free flowing exhaust, fuel pressure, etc.) it can easily be brought up to 288 hp.

enjoy !
(taken at Zanvoort circuit (1/4mile comps) next will be held this may 29th)

Wow fast corsa. And he have a turbo calibra 2l engine in there.I got a corsa too but just with the 1.6l but i bring it this year to bitburg because my truck is down for this year.
Do anyone remember that purpble corsa last year in bitburg he was running low 12s with a calibra turbo engine and dyno 330Horses.I think he should run easy 11s with that engine.
Where is that video from the staates??

My rear end is broke i think that v8 and slicks was to much for the 6zylinder rear. And my second engine is broke too,one freeze plug went out on the winter so i need to check for a crack. So i just race my opel corsa this year than i can get me another rear end 12bolt and built me a new engine and get me a other tranny.

I agree it's a C4. Looking very cool, roof down, shades on, sleek as an eagle's wing.
The big elevated white turd next to it, that's a Corsa is it. Difficult to look at it for more than 3 seconds without wanting to slap the designer.
It may be faster than the Vette but you still couldn't give it to me.
