Today was such a beautiful day . Loaded up the car with my KBDD, gonna install them at the Craftshop in Wiesbaden. I called Val up to help. We were wrestling with one and come to find out , it Looks like there made for a convert. Man I was Mad. I hate buying on the internet. Ohwell .
Thanks for lunch Val.
So on my way I basically killed everything that wanted something. I don't if I should post them or not. I'm still mad .

Do you mean the SFCs? Did they mess up or did you when ordering?

If it's really the Convertible version - how much for them?

let me know when you find out ... (who messed up - should be able to tell from what you paid - the 'vert vesion is more expensive ... if you paid 239,- + shipping, they must have sent the wrong one)

Well Garry ,there is two versions hard top and vert. So through some brilliant deductive reasoning. They must be for a vert cause they donot fit a hardtop. Let me know if your interested . Might be able to do a trial fit to be sure.

Could do some time - is there anyplace in your vicinity we could check it out at? Possibly on a Sunday? Going down to Giessen every other week, could come by afterwards ...

Roy:
That does not sound good. I hope my KBDDs are the right ones (hardtop). Does it say "hardtop/convertible" on the installation instructions that came with them? BTW I haven't installed them yet. Too much going on the last weeks and still looking for a good place to install...

Going to Luckau on Saturday, but will pretty likely head back home that evening - do you have a place we can check whether the DD SFCs will fit Sunday?

Garry:
I have the KBDDs on my car since last week and it feels much more rigid/solid/stiff now.
Roy:
I've tested them at the Ring last Monday and though I don't have any other upgrades like sway bars etc. I could corner much more precisely... more fun to drive.
