My mate has just ditched his '69 Camaro resto after 5 years (ha!) and bought himself a VX 220 Turbo. He came and took me out in it. All I can say is these things are gonna cook your hide as they run pretty damn fast even to 100 and the handling is unbelievable with none of the weight transfer issues you get in a Zed.

No discernible turbo lag, instant response ans it pushes you hard into your seat. Still, don't actually want one after driving it but respect!

I'll take it! Just box it up and mail it to me, OK? Does it come with a big block? I have a couple of cars that I can trade you...

He just sold it for £4500 without the engine. Believe me, it's an ex-drag racing car and not a mint car. I think it was originally a 396. Basically, he stripped it right down and 5 years later, lost interest. Still needs a complete resto. He he.

Ah, don't worry, it's gone to a man who's just restored a bullnose Firebird. He has plans to restore it and put a big evil motor in it. His mate races an old Mustang which has 30k of suspension underneath it.
