Well, doesn't really qualify as a kill, maybe a stun, as the car could have definitely beat me, and I wasn't in the 'maro, either, but ...
En route to Giessen a new 5-series passed me, I was cruising around 85 or so ... estimate he was going about 100 ... I'm still not too comfortable with my beater, only rode it some 600mi to date, and just got new winter tires ... anyway, good time to give it a spin, so punched it, coming up to him ... we passed several other cars, with some on the left slowing us both ... he seemed to try to get away, but didn't ... shortly after the Alsfeld exit, he finally decided to move over, going around 100 by then ... my beeter starts pulling pretty good at 5000rpm (something about some air intake flaps closing then), I just started gaining on him, passing him with about 120 ... didn't dare to go faster, as the curves started coming up, put several car lengths between us before pulling over and slowing back down ... (d@mn fuel prices)

No, the 79 a) won't go 120mph (I don't think) and b) isn't registered for street use ... talking about the 4banger beater ...
