So I'm coming home yesterday after changing the oil in the SS. I'm getting on the Bahn and getting ready to get in the passing lane and there is this new M3 in the left lane, he slows down and lets me in I jump on it. A6 was very busy so it was 145mph blast followed by heavy braking. Anyways we're flying alone and past up this older M3 I want to say like a 97 but I have no clue it was that body style anyways. So all 3 of us get on to A-62 and now its show time. I get into traffic and the the newer M jumps to the left lane we pull all the way to 115 and he's like one and a car behind me and the he slows for his exit. I slow down to like 70. Thats when I see that other M roll up next to me nice looking car but more sticker than a import car show. He looks at me like "you don't have "He said POOP" on me" So I let him pull about a half car length on me before I drop it in 3rd and easily pull a car on him and continue to pull on him till I barried the speedo. It was fun finally having someone who wanted to race. The last 2 time I had the SS out it punk'd 2 newer Mustang GT's.
hope you enjoy

Nice job. I'm going to have to slow down to let some of these cars catch up. It's always the same - we're out driving in the Astra last week and a Porsche Boxster S does a fly-by. The week before it was a Subaru. Every time I'm in the Camaro, nobody at all! OK, a guy in an Astra Convertible had a pop at me but he was quickly relegated to the distant horizon.
There's just too much traffic out here.
Then you get the dorks. Vauxhall Corsa driven by a junior nincompoop hogging the outside lane of a dual carriageway. I give him the benefit of the doubt and stay behind him until we get through a roundabout and he moves over behind a Ford Transit. I start to accelerate and the little ****wit pulls out in front of me! I hit the brakes, sound the horns at maximum for 5 seconds and the little drip just sits in the outside lane like the dumbass he is. Had to blow him away on the inside. What are some of these people smoking? Have they no experience of a fast car?
OK, rant over.

sounds like fun there
Lusifer I get the same thing when were patrolling thestreets in the Hummer everybody does flybys, but when I load up the boys in the 56 ton 1100 hp 2000 lb ft of torque 1966 old school M88 track vehicle . Then nobody wants to play any more I don't know if it is the track or the fact I got a 50 cal covering my six with a laser that puts nice visible red dots on people out to 1000 meters. All I know is we haven't lost a contest to date.

Roy, that's cause as soon as they pull away from you, Your ride would start to back "fire".
Kinda hard to be happy about beating someone when you wig is split.
Besides, this isn't those kind of kills. But you give em hell anyway!

Are you still in Denial
Basp says
Quote: O.K. There I was. Just minding my own business, driving through Ramstein AB on my way home. This black Camaro SS pulls up next to me and downshifts, guns it a couple of times making the car jerk forward, trying to provoke me. It was a late model SS, probably 2000 or 2001, and I could see that he had different exhaust tips. Other than that I don't know what else had been done to it. It was kind of cold that day, this was way back in Nov or Dec, and I had just started my car and the engine wasn't warm yet. Not to mention that we were on base with a 50 kph speed limit, and traffic. So as we leave base I am stuck in the right lane because he won't get out from beside. He gets on it a little and I get behind him and have no trouble keeping up. We mess with each other amidst the traffic leaving the base for a few miles to A6. There was a lot of traffic on A6 and I passed him as he immediately got stuck behind the typical rush hour traffic. I get over to get on A62 as it's only 1km from where we got on A6. I take A62 home to avoid the stop and go traffic going through Landstuhl and up the hill. I live just behind Burg Nanstein. So he gets right behind me at the exit, and there's no cars in front of me. As the ramp straightened out onto A62 I was going about 40mph. I push the clutch in, gun the accelerator as I shift to 2nd, and dump the clutch. The car got a little sideways, but a throttle modulation and she straightened up. I went through 2nd and 3rd charging up the hill before coming up on more traffic. The SS was still right behind me. I was impressed. The speed limit drops to 100 kph, then 80 kph as A62 goes through a tunnel, still climbimg the hill. All of the traffic is now gone as we enter the tunnel. We slowed down to about 50mph and he pulled even with me on the right. At the end of the tunnel the speed restriction goes away. When we got to the end of the tunnel we both put our respective hammers down. Mine was bigger. I took off in 2nd again and immediately started pulling ahead. At the end of 2nd at 80mph I was a full car length ahead of him. I hit 3rd and floored it. The big bad bow tie continued to fade into the background. I hit fourth and held it to just over 150mph, then I had to start slowing down so I didn't miss my exit at the top of the hill. I guess you could say that I was "King of the hill"

holy "He said POOP" that was a while ago but ok here we go. I was going home from some where not really important I guess, I've seen this guy before I think he works near me. . . . . Ok so we're getting on A-62 he is in front of me and he jumps in the left lane giving it all she had (big clouds of black smoke out the pipes) I kicked the SS in the ass in 2nd 3/4 throttle and was pulling on him so i was like no need want any more gas on this guy so we're coming through the tunnel and I normally wait till after the UNRESTRITED sign till I get on it. Half way to the sign he just jumps on it no honks or anything to let me know that we were "RACING" (most mustang owners dont like the SS badge or the bowtie for some reason) so I'm like ok you want to be like that. Kept it in 3rd pulled to redline and continued to 150+ and I didn't see no signs of him trying to slow down. I cought up to him way before the exit. But oh well i guess you can't win them all. . . . . right!?
