Umm, yeah, this was not a kill for me. I was coming back from the N-ring today after making an appointment at Boemanns to get the 'Maro dynoed. Just outside of Mullenbach, I got a clear shot to pass a dump truck. A black SL600 (2003 or better) that was behind me had the same idea. I knew he was going to let it rip, so I egged him on by romping on it when I made my pass. It WORKED!!! Man, that thing has gi-normus toruqe filled nu@ts!!! It sounded unbelivable, too. I knew I was going to get handled, but I didn't feel so bad when I looked up the actual numbers:
493 hp, 590 trq.
Ouch.
And God knows what AMG did to that thing.
I will let you guys know my numbers on Friday.
Anybody ever put on a supercharger? Just wondering.

Those things are quick considering their weight. Dyno?! Man you should've organised a dyno day run. My car is up there in Spang right now. What time are you heading to this dyno shop?

If I don't hear from you before then no biggie. I definetly want to see your numbers though.

I got an appointment at 1000 Friday morning. They said it would cost 76.00 euro. They seemed to have some time available, and they sprachen American. :D

I put in a Hurst billet shifter today; pretty slick. I was expecting the stick to be a little shorter. The one it came with was the same length as stock. The throw is shorter, though. I tried to get the bolts holding it on loose to try and swap with a short stick I never put on. I tried every freakin' allen wrench that I could find, and none of them fit. Somewhere between 1/4 and 5/32. Talk about aggravating!!
