Autobaughn was hot and clear and all of a sudden I get flashed by a car cumming up quick. i got over and let him get up next to me and got his attention to run them. He grinned and nodded. He kicked it and I double clutched at 65 in 3rd gear and kicked the rear end around a little and left him lingering in exhaust fumes. After I was nice enough to let him catch up we did another run at 30 and kick. I left him behind once again. I was impressed that he had a stage 2 turbo on the SRT. I guess it wasnt all its cracked up to be as a 4 banger. If you read this and it was you. Better luck next time.

I only have to use the clutch once to put in third. Would that be called single clutched 3rd? You must have a bad tranny if you had to double clutch. The old Duece and half was like that. Nice kill though.

Good Kill. Stage 2 or 3 is nothing to worry about but they make it sound like they're 500hp monsters. ha-ha...

the reason for the double clutch was I missed the gear the first time. the rpm's were high and broke traction quickly. the color of the car was red. it looked stock on the body but it sounded mean. i wonder if I could get him for false advertising. ha-ha.
HAWK,
I want to meet you and get some pointers from you for my LS1. I also want to know if with the Mods I posted and a stock motor, would NOS be a good idea. Possibly a 100 shot stage 2 connection. I dont want to do a lot to it until I get back to the states. I will be tearing it down all the way and rebuilding it from scratch. The main thing that sucks is that it comes with an aluminum block, or at least I believe it is aluminum. It has been a while since I checked up on the specs.

100 shot won't hurt that block. The LS1 loves crack.
