...next Sunday! If there's no rain!
I'm talking about 20 km of fun at the Nuerburgring. Who else is coming? John or Jack? Come on, I'm always the only American car there except one or two Corvettes...
EDIT: John, sorry about your car. Just read it a few minutes ago...

Well I go there now and then when there is not much people and when the ring has very little traffic on it. Usually during the week When I can break away, if they are open or an early saturday morning ( I spend the night at a hotel there) I leave late that morning, when people start congegrating. And socializing.
I go there to "put myself through school" and sharpen my skills. Whatever "floats your boat "is fine, but I don't go there to showboat or socialize (I am not saying that anyone here does) I have seen too many crashes and accidents on the Nurbergring to realize that I have to be completely focused not on speed, but on clockwork fluid motion- my mind processing data like some Intel pentium computer and my equipment, two wheels or four- simply an extension of that device
-The speed comes naturally- you concentrate too much on speed you end up fighting it and you end up hindering yourself on tracks like the Nurburgring

I was there again yesterday... and that wasn't a good day at all. First the famous RingMini sort of went off the road and landed on the roof, then in the afternoon a friend of mine crashed his BMW (normally drives there with a Civic) at Flugplatz right in front of me. He must have hit the curbs with one of his rear tire then he was sliding all over the road and hit the guard rail... He wasn't injured, just the car's front was quite "flat"... but anyway.
Well, conclusion: Always concentrate and always control yourself, don't go faster than you or your car is capable of. The Nordschleife is no joke.

Jack: What Garry said... I hope he doesn't stay there for too long so we can hit the Ring again this year with 2 Camaros.
