Looks like a group buy is gonna happen for the Poor Folk that participate in Motorsports bu t don't drive 200K cars. I think the pricing will come out to about 700USD. You would still have to drill your helmet though.

I know the new G-Force helmet I bought already is set up for the Hans device........unfortunately it's a bit too much $$$ for me right now. :cry:

Roy,
the HANS only work in conjunction with a properly installed restraint system, i.e. 5-point harness mounted to a rollbar/crossbar and a bucket seat. a Diagonal safety belt on a standard seat will NOT work, since the harness belts are also used to lock the HANS over your shoulders.
For Auto-X the HANS is absolutely useless because you have to turn your head thru 45 degrees each way.
For Track the HANS is good.
So, if you want to wear a HANS, how about getting our Nordschleife car deal together. Then I will immediately also buy one.

Roy, 90% sure I can come up with the cash. Already got the seat/harness and such.


BTW I've still got those tires in my garage. Do you still want them?
