Wow that was fun . My car sucked out there . Too much brake hop, understeer going into corners , and oversteer coming out. I believe it was my replacement tires Falken RT 615 Second session was better but I had to slow down quite a bit to get things working . I am going to miss the Toyo RA1 .
Also drifted thru the Sachs Kurve , and I wasn't even trying to . Man I hope that never happens again.

Hey Roy,

That was fun, thanks for schlepping me with you up there. It was finnaly our chance to have our meet at the hock. After reviewing the videos about 30 times, I did notice that your car was experiencing some strange behavior at high speed braking and in the banked turns, it seem like a wheel hop or something from the axle, like it was locking up some, you will have to see the vid. It was a fun day for sure, I got shake it out finally to see how it is running. I spoke with Ray, he said he went out after we left, he wanted to go out with us, but was not to sure about the track.

From my home made G force meter (Pine scented air freshner hanging from the mirror) I think I was hitting some good G's. It was a little tricky out there in some spots. I hit about 143-45 at the end of the parbolica, once hit 4th rev limiter. That was it for me for a while I think, my car will be in the chop shop getting ready for its new birth.

Nick

Nice, sounds like a fun day, sorry to hear about the tires Roy, What made you choose the Falkens over the Kumho's? Just giving an opportunity Roy?

Ben are you REALLY going? I will have to go to Mainz and pick up the trailer tonight. I need to call and find out if I can have it. I have to be in Friedburg by 1500 though. Give me a ring or I will keep checking here.
