So, the next 1on1-motorsports event at Bitburg is scheduled for 13-14 June. Many of you may not know this, but in addition to the drag racing there is also an autocross/slalom event! Your entry fees for the drag race also cover the autocross, so why not swing by and try your hand at the autocross and see if you can drive your car in something other than just a straight line!?

To get to the autocross you simply go to the left at the end of the drag strip instead of the right. There will be someone over by the orange cones to guide you.

There hasn't been much publicity at all for the slalom event this year, so it's not your fault for not knowing about it. However, if you've read this far there is no longer any excuse! (Unless of course you're just plain scared... 8) )

Seriously though, we need more people to participate in the slalom event. It really is a lot of fun and will give you a much better idea of how your car handles.

Yeah, and he's telling you not to be scared and he's the only one I know who went over the edge:)

Did I ever give you any of those pic's?

So then I should be the only one that has a right to be scared, right? No, you never did send me your pics. I got the other ones that were posted though. Too much fun!

Another fun weekend of autocrossing! I recruited a few people from the pits and staging lanes who all seemed to enjoy themselves. No new F Bodies showed up.

(Oh yeah, and I stayed on course this time 8) )

I plan on being back there when my kids are grown as a contractor, so if that all works out, maybe I'll have a Porsche on the course with you guy's if you can keep it alive for another ten to twelve years, my daughter just turned 7 on monday, and it looks like i'll be getting out to live closer to them, looking good for a few jobs as well sooooo.

It makes me sad seeing those pic's, some of the funnest times i"ve had in my car, other than the Green Hell:)
