The time are not impressive. I have a 305 with 145,000 miles on it. Now remember times are realy $hitty. First off I ran 16.5 on motor alone. Second run with power adder 15.0. You probably want to know what kind of power adder. Well it's a 75hp shot of the GO/GO juice.

Well we are going to find out next year how it all fits together. I should be around 450 to 470hp at the motor(without the GO/GO juice). We will see.
You need to start looking a safety. You have the mph down(138 is fast for the 1/4). You just have to get those 60ft times down. If you hook, I bet you will be in the 10's.

yes to both questions Lowering springs and stock shocks are alowing the front to settle this is causing me to spin above 6000 in 1, 2& 3. V 6 springs with hals and rear drag bar should solve the problem. Trying to find a set of weld draglights skinnies up front and 10 in drag ET slicks out back. when I put the roll cage in I will put the battery in the trunk also a couple other weigt transferring thingy's

Hawk, first of all, good job running mid 11's. But, 138mph and your only running mid 11's?????? The 9 sec cars arent running much faster. You definatelly have a case of to much vs. not enough.
The time has come my friend, to $hit or get off the pot. Do you want to run the numbers? Then set your car up for it. If not, than I dont see any better than low 11's for your car.
If you relocate the battery, than you have to have a shut off installed. Also with your times, if they are up on the rule book, your looking at a 1 layer suit at a minimum. Also if you install a 6pt, than by NHRA rules you must have a 5pt harness if your car is faster than 12 flat. BTW those must be recertified every 2 years, or replaced. And the last rule I feel like spitting out, is that a window net is required on all cars trapping 135mph or more, or ET of 9.99 or better.
Once again great job getting your middle 11's.

Thanks & Yup you are right trying to have the best of both worlds though. Tony told me to slow down or put a roll cage in before next year. He said roll cage is required above 135MPH does not matter times. I know there is a change for 10.99 and quicker? I know it is a fairly new change But I do not plan to run 9's I will be happy with 10's So I plan to put Hals in with V6 spring a BMR Drag launch bar and roll cage however having problems understanding the rules and what is required. I think the MPH will drop if I get the wheels up but I really do not care at this point I want to run 10's next year and drive it everyday except in the rain.

Thats how they get ya. The major changes happen as soon as you run the 9.99. The least of which is the 9 sec lic you'll need, and I bet it would be almost impossible to get over there. The problem for you is the 9.99et, OR 135mph+ traps. Either way you'd be screwed. Tire wise, I think your good, cept might think about a taller tire. The traction is there if the suspension is. The drag radial class is full of 8sec cars, but they have billion dollar ultra trick 4 or 5 link suspensions.
Possible a dual stage on the gas. ie 50-75 out the gate, and another 100 about 2-3sec later when you have solid traction.
You have mad power, just need to find a way to control it.

I did a 150-175 hit @the lights and did not lift problem was 6000-6800 RPM's and trying to move the 3800lb car foward. Thanks for the advice I know those tires are sticky cause I launch @ 4800 I get the initial transfer and then loose it and the wheels spin above 6000.
