Thinking about over the back seat style so I can keep the back seats. They are toward the bottom and keep it legal.
I have seen some custom 10pt bars that do not need to go into the dash. Maybe I could get bye with a 8 pt next year?

Yeah Bruce, an 8 pt, ok. Depends on how strengent they are on the rules. I called wolfe racecraft last night about shipping over here. They told me they had to ask their regular freight transporter. I'm hoping they will. I like the design.

Well ok. Can we get them ordered together? That helps me because I can't go to Frankfurt "just because". When were you wanting to order anyway?

I'm thinking the 8 pt. I think ordering it jig notched will make install a lot easier. I'm not sure which material yet. Probably get the mild steel.

Back seats are comming out. I never liked having anyone back there anyway. Eventually 2 12s will occupy that space.

Hey Bruce, have you had any luck with the welding thing? I have found that it is not hard to find someone that is qualified to TIG weld. The problem is finding a TIG welder itself. Well one that can be used for other than gov use.

all the craft shops I went to to had TIG, and if you can run a hotglue gun, a TIG is not much differant. Not like anyone will see your ugly beads anyway ;)

Summit has chassis engineering bars for 183.99 weld in 8pt milled steel. shipping BAX will add about $200 though.

I would prefer the wolfracecraft over the chassis engineering just for the bent door bars. Lets get this going. I got the dough.

As soon as you get the quote for the air freight, then I will let you know. I do not want to spend as much as the roll bar costs.
