Some news for 2004.
May 7 - 9 is a Drag-Training-Day planned in Groß-Dölln near Berlin.
August 6 - 8 is a Drag Race planned in same location.
To cut a long story short:
Both the training and the race are organized by german dragracers themselves, classes are SSB, ProMod, Comp, Super Gas etc.,
There is expected 2 - 3 times as many teams than Hockenheim
Nitrolympics past year, national and international.
Since I am part of the committee "Groß-Dölln reloaded", which is build
out of 6 popular german Dragracers (3 bikes, 3 cars) and myself,
I am representing the Public Racers and I can bring in a certain amount of cars/teams - but I am asked to proof that those drivers have dragracing experience (Bitburg 1on1 is accepted) and are no bloody beginners holding up the professional organization...
BTW: the professional Team organizing the event is the 1on1 Team: Garry, Ben, Dennis, Thomas, Eva, Jochen... and others you know from Bitburg...
so anybody wants to participate as a driver in "Public Race 1" or "PR 2" please let me know
and also if you want to be in first line (>team) to the future best dragracing event in Germany
I only can take a limited number of people for both, driving and team members, you've got heads up notice.
Edit: forgot to mention, for the training you don't need any license.
Just the Race will be DMSB approved,
also at the Training Mike Bernett will be available to do SFI inspections.
