great racing saturday! Nice and cool all day and the track was in fair condition. Do you guys remember me asking if I would be able to beat a 2004 Mustang Mach 1? well, we raced twice and heres the result ( im number 298).

298 543
14.083 1/4ET 14.287
101.58 1/4MPH 102.27

#543 is the mach 1. This was my worst run of the day. you might remember him, his mach 1 is bright yellow. This was our first race, I won easily so i gave him another try.
298 543
13.901 1/4ET 14.526
103.93 1/4MPH 99.12
on this run I had a terrible reation time of 1.052 and he had .662. Obviously he had a huge start before me but the power of the camaro kicked his butt when I hit 3rd gear and started pulling away.

heres my best run of the day against a Mustang GT. He was scared from the begining.
298 576
13.605 1/4ET 15.403
105.39 1/4MPH 94.34
This guy actually red lighted so bad, he had a two car head start before the red light. Still beat him by three car lenghts.

heres my one and only loss of the day to nazman of mighty mustangs. The second time I ran a 13.6 today.
298 586
13.683 1/4ET 13.328
104.65 1/4MPH 105.88
This race was a lot closer then he thought it would be.

And my final race was against a good friend of mine with a 95' vette.
298 629
13.985 1/4ET 14.538
104.41 1/4MPH 98.47
He jumped way ahead of me on the start but the power of the LS1 put him away.

I was really happy with the way I raced saturday. I wasnt impressed with the mustang clubs, I kept asking guys to race but they kept giving excuses why they couldnt race or they would say that It wasnt worth it because I would beat them so bad. I thought it was the mustang and f-body shootout. well mabye next month

As far as I can tell that Bruce scared them off. They were racing one another. Very few races with other non rustangs. They really didn't show in force--either by number of cars or by ET's.

Yeah, the Mighty Mustangs seemed mighty intimidated by Bruce ... :)
I wondered where they were for the bracket runs ... I think I only saw one or two mustangs in those runs ... I would have liked to play with one of the V6 guys with my V6 ... didn't really get around to it, but would not have been fair ... WTF did Ford do to them 6ers? They are so slooooow !?

Nice run w/ NAZ Johnny. Figured he'd be in the 12's. Wonder what he'll run next time w/ the giggle gas. I'll be keeping my out on them and see who does what this go around.

I believe he had at least one or two runs in the high 12s.
