Best run was a 13.637 @ 100.45
60FT 2.055 (best of the day)
1/8th was 8.7

I am having some issues. No matter what my DR's were not giving me anything better than 2.0 and most of the time I was getting 2.1 and 2.2.

Secondly my MPH was staying around 100 but my ET's were 13.6 to low 13.7.

Last time I ran a 13.6 @ 103.45 but on street tires...someone told me the DR's are causing the low MPH....

Any suggestions on getting some better times.

Also does anyone think that changing my exhaust from 2.25" to 3" had an effect on my top end?

well, what was your tire pressure of the drag radials - if they are set right, you should get under 2.0 ... i noticed shakeys were a little high as well when he used them

alot of times, your MPH is higher because of excess wheel spin in the hole, the more you spin, the more mph you will have

What kind of d/r are you running? I ran BFG d/r's last year and the best pressure for them was 15psi. I agree with Slick on your lower trap speed. The car was hooking better. My suggestion is to lower the tire pressure to 15psi, do a 5-6 second burnout in 1st gear @ 5000 rpm. Lauch at 1400 rpm and it should pick up some of the mph you lost and maybe a 10th on the et. Unhook the front sway bar end links. It is really easy and you will see a major improvement on the 60'.

Play a bit with your shifting RPMs you could find a 1/10th there as well.

As far as MPH goes, its a matter of HP, also aviable traction has to play with it but not too much.

You could lower your times and not gain anything on the MPH. Another method to gain MPH and lower your ETs without adding HP is moving to a steeper gear.

For example there is about 2 MPH moving from a (Ford) 3.73 to lets say 4.10s.
