Mmmmmhhhhhmmmmmm.......that's right......11.96 @ 116.24 with a 1.79 60' today at the Rock!!! :-ok:

I know I can bring my 60' time down a bunch, so I should have a better time to report tomorrow.

Tomorrow I try for low 11.9s :D

The BMR pieces and slicks REALLY help with traction but a new clutch won't be far away. Held fine for my first 3 runs, but the last 2 she was slipping. I was dumping it at 2500 RPMs without spinning the slicks. Anything over 2700 and the slick were toast. Had my fingers crossed and breath held on every launch!!! Rear end took the abuse.

Car felt really different without the front sway bar and skinnies on it too. Glad it's only like that at the track :)

There was an '88 super charged mustang there running low 9's today :-eek:

Congrats man... Way to run that WS6.. I hope she holds together for some more runs. I would hate for you to have to buy a new 9" and a clutch... Oh well....:)

it must feel good to know that you could line up with "Thunder chickens" 396 with Evan Smith behind the wheel, and send him home!!!!!

Once again, congrats on joining the 11 sec club.

We'll, todays times wern't quite as good as yesterdays, but I was able to drive the car home...so that's a plus :) I was getting kind of frustrated at being .4 off yesterdays times and I was alot harder on the car.

Most of my times today were 12.2xx's and my slowest was a 13.34 Image when I tried a 4K launch while feathering the clutch.

The clutch did fine today but it was much hotter and a bit higher humidity. One guy from the club here with a 98 WS6 :D ran a PB of 11.624 @ 121.05 mph, he didn't run yesterday though. Seems like almost everyone was a bit slower today. Oh well...It was fun anyhow.

They had a jet powered funny car out there today...that thing was loud as all hell!!!

It is going to interesting to see what the lower compression (10.75:1) stage 2 heads are going to do. It's going to be a long 4-8 week wait though Image
I'm really thinking about getting some MACs to hold me over till I can swing the "other thing".

Actually, I don't have a MOS...I used to be 11B and 18D and I am not in COSCOM or Division. I am actually assigned to Ft Jackson, SC with duty in Buies Creek, NC (Campbell University) :D

I switched over to the "other" side...and am in the Degree Completion Program now...my job is to be a college student :D :D :D

In Jan. I will be PCSing to Ft. Lee Va for about 6 months, then who knows where.

Not sure about Dragg Blvd, the only place I go is from home on Morganton about 2 miles from Reilly Rd to school and to RTP.

I got into a couple scuffles on Bragg BLVD with all them christmas trees hanging over the strip. I lived just off 401 by-pass Briarcliff condos. Sounds like you are in the better part of town. Anyhow with those times you do not need to worry about to many streetable cars. LOL but ther could be a few in that area.

They just mounted cameras all over town, mainly up and down Bragg and the Murch.
