If I am running a sub 11 sec street car (hopefully  ) in T&T what do I have to have to pass tech inspection. I am confused about the website. Do I need a rolllbar? What about in the 11's?

1on1 uses the standard NHRA/FIA/DMSB rules as a base ... so anything you'd be required to have on an NHRA drag strip should be there for Bitburg, too ... except for the helmet, which is required no matter how slow you are ...

Unless you are in the 5 euro fun runs. I see time after time the drivers come off the track without any helmets on.

Is the 5 euro runs test & tune? Is that per run? That is more what I was hoping for. I am all for safety, but I am not really wanting to install a cage since it is a DD. Hell, I'll be glad to run anything less than 12's anyhow!

The 5€ runs are basically a filler on Sunday afternoon, when many regulars already pack up, and only a few cars are left running ... also, it gives people a chance to try it out, without too much of a hassle ... about 90-95% of all those cars are relatively slow, running well over the regular NHRA times requiring helmets or any other safety equipment ... once you want to do more than 4 runs, you might as well sign up for regular runs ;)
