I know your spring rate for up front but what are you running in the rear? What shocks are you using as well? I'm switching to coilovers next month haven't decided which to get. Won't know for sure til thurs.

LG's expensive
GC Ground control
GW Global west

Lot's of folks us GC w/out problems same for GW. Just unsure of the spring rates. I like the way yours felt didn't have alot of rebound and wasn't harsh.

Got any advice?
Thanks

Well GC is based out in CA and they take too long to get the parts from that side of the country. Don't know any vendor that carries GC but I do know GW is carried by TR.

Might just shell out the dough and get LG's at least I know the parts will arrive w/out no hiccups.

I'm going 600 front and 150 or 165 rear. More likely 150 rear. Can't wait and w/ the my camber @ -1.5 or so and some sticky's?....................oh boyee!

John, is this the setup you went with? How does it work at the 'ring? Roy if you have 2cts, please chime in. :)

Thanks!

Yes I went 600 linear front and 150lb linear rear. Never went back to the track w/ this setup but I know it'll be improved significantly over my original setup.

I would go out and compare the two but I'm not going back out there w/ out the other set of tires and rims.

Whooh
I didn't even see this post from june. Sorry guys.

I have 590 up front and 150-180 rears but don't quote on the rears though. MY memory ain't what it used to be. For me Ineed more spring in the rear because the car will bottom out at high speeds. My shocks for the rear are 3rd gen Bilsteins.

So when you guys ordered your shocks, did they recommend these numbers to you, or did you tell them this is what you wanted?

I told them what I wanted based off riding in Roy's and L8Apeaks car. I just went even 600. I had my shocks redone w/ the custom piston because I like for the car to sit low at additional cost of course. This way I have the suspension travel I need the same as other w/ their car slightly or more higher. My shock profile is mirrored off of Roys w/ a few changes based on my driving style but that is something Sam will ask you when ordering yours. I can't tell the difference because I haven't compared my car vs his. But I'm heavier too so that'll change some handling I'm sure until I can actually get the car weighed and no longer call her a pig.

Some guys I know are running 750 up front but that's too much IMO for a daily driver. After talking to Sam though it's all in the shock baby... :)

I may go w/ a higher spring rate in the rear because mine bottomed out the day I broke my torque arm and I was only going 30 mph around a curve doing it. OR my TA was just on it's way out and that was the icing on the cake.
I'll know for sure this spring though at the Ring.

That gives me good reason to just spend the extra $$$ and get the LG coil-overs. Thanks for the info guys. ;)

It would be nice to have a totally adjustable setup.
