Doesn't anyone go to Nurnberg anymore? Are the Polizei still out of control down there or did the USAREUR IG slap 'em around and straighten 'em up?

last time I checked out the BP station and Noris it was pretty much empty... only like 10 cars ... seems like a lot of people want to avoid trouble with the cops

Yea Hawk, we gonna get a cardboard burger at the diner too.
Nothin beats a cardboard burger and a 3.50 Euro ice tea. When you wanna leave for Nurnburg. If nothing is happening there maybe we can spook the Opels on the circle in Amberg.

Hawk, Gil and I was talking about hitting the Diner/Nurnburg about 19:30/20:00 or so. Don gets back today and we can break him back into things. I'm sure he's tired of hanging around L.A. for 30 days.

It's always fun to get out, but that guy in the Bimmer doing donuts by my car got me a little nervous.

I'm sorry, but I am going to have to insist that you take it easy on the rice burners! Thanks for your understanding.

With the Fest going on there probably won't be much action cause they use Norrisring as a parking lot. 2 Fridays ago Hawk, John and Gil was there he said it was packed with cars at Norrisring. The fest goes until 8 Sep, I'll go up the Friday after.

Just got back from Nurnenberg. The fest didn't hinder the action on the ring, but the BP was a ghost town. The fest must have kept the Poliezi preoccupied. They only came once or twice. The racing and show off never ended. I guess I got a few good break in miles on the new engine. Took it easy, but you know I had to show the ricers what a donut was. That was a crowd pleaser.

Later

30birdy, it would of been nice to have you and your car at the All Pontiac Day in Switzerland. There was a 35th Anniversary TA there and I think your car looks better. The Swiss have a thing about putting two fart pipes on each side.

It is good to be up and running. Didn't feel like driving 5 hours each way to the All Pontiac show with a new engine. It would have been cool though. Where is a Uhaul dealer when you need 'em?

30Birdy, can you tell me the details of your engine problem? Where did you take it? How did the dealer react to the problem?
