if anybody has a map or directions how to get there and make reservation? Mannheim or the Mainz/Wiesbaden area should be
in the middle... but usually all restaurants are packed because
of christmas parties now... maybe in between the holidays?
or a silvester party???

The Chevy Diner is not a full blown out resturant I don't think. I'll try to call and find out more info.

Chevy diners use to be a world wide franchise back in the 70's . When I moved to Wiesbaden I saw the Diner you are talking about in M-Kastel. That place seems to have some funny operating hours. I remember coming back aacross the Mainz bridge after wreaking some havoc and busting some egos on some Ferraris. I got stopped at the light there and some guy on deck was yelling out me show a little action at the light so I obliged him. Ran the rpms up against the stutterbox , Light turn green and boom that intersection was a cloud of billowing smoke and high reving Chevy v8. It seemed the right thing to do at the time
