I just got off the phone with DCA Vilseck/Graf there will not be any shootout happening here. It is a liability issue in conjunction with the rash of fatalities this year 4 to be exact. I am sorry if we got your hopes up. We have the timeing lights here, If anyone knows of a spot we can rent send me the info goal here is to be able to do a slalom, road coarse, and drag race. I am sorry

Hm ... Bitburg and Sembach come to mind ... Roy, can you check with your buddies of PCA? I can try to give the Opel place in Bitburg a call and see who to contact for the Airfield there ... maybe something else in the Frankfurt/Mannheim area? Tony, you got any idea?

Just got off the phone with the car place in Bitburg ... got a contact Info, a Mr. Hahn from Formel 3 Vereinigung, 06561 68201 ...
With us not doing the event in Vielseck, is it still for the October weekend? It might be a good idea to move it up a little bit if we can get a track ... on the other hand, we still need time for organization and inviting the people... hard choice ...

I guess the Bitburg airfield was pretty decent - setting it up for a 2-day event would probably make it more interesting for the people, though we'll probably be a bit more restricted ... not sure if the people will let us have the runways for two whole days ... Hey, Jr, will you try to get some infos through your friends down there? Guess we have to act quickly ... couple of things that still have to be organized ...

We need # POC, and Tony would set up the drag race. Roy could you do the road coarse? Who knows about the slalom? I guess if we want it we must go for it. Thanks

I saw a couple of scanned-in AutoX-courses on the Internet - maybe we could use one as a basis ... or do two different on the two days ... make it more interesting ...
