Just wanted to thank everyone for a great weekend in Bitburg even though my 1/4 mile times need some serious HELP. Sincere thanks go to Linda and Jerry for their hospitality...talk about genuinely good people!

Jeff, thanks for showing me how bad I drive. I have a new goal in life...12 flat...and then it'll be "Miller" time.

Win or lose, I had an awesome time. Thanks!

Chuck

With a good set of drag radials and you would have been there. As for Miller Time, be careful. I think he will be an 11 second contender next year. The LS1 bug has bit him big time. Take care Chuck and good luck on the 12 flat.

Don

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to practice, practice, buy parts, practice, buy some more parts, practice, and then finish it off with some more practice.

Bruce, when I had a chance to look, we were over 160mph. After that glimpse, I didn't look anymore. I didn't even want to change my eyes' focus from the road to the HUD...too scared!!! We were moving out though, no doubt.

How'd you like the cosmetic surgery your car underwent under the hands of Dr. Chuck?

Well, if we hit over 170mph, then it was definitely the fastest I've been. I hit 167mph when I dropped the hammer and drove past you guys earlier on the return trip, when Jeff hit the gas right behind me. I should've come up to play when you, Don, and Jeff were doing the roll-on mini races...that looked fun. Next time.

Damn and I thought I went fast at 135 mph... Hawk you must have been so proud of your "Asian" car to be able to keep up with the American muscle LOL...
I hate that it is time to put the cars up for another season but looking forward to alot of fun next year...
I have been up here at Nick's all week, his stuff is gone and we are just doing the last little bit before he clears out of his appartment, he will be on his way to Vegas in just over a week... Hate to see him go...
I will see the rest of you if not over the winter then at Bitburg next year...
