Well, good luck ... hope it's a two-way-thing ...

Guess that means selling the Z is out of the question now? ;)

Well, I'm glad to here that. So what the deal on them rims? I checked out a 79 T/A today, nice car. I'm thinking about buying it. Its got the 6.6 400 in it. It should run good. The guy can't afford to drive it or register it. Plus it looks like the Banits car, with the bird on the hood.

D@mn ... I can't possibly get yet another fbody, also need to buy the SUV or something for the '79 ... (of course you know the Bandit T/A was a 73 or something, don't you?) Sure would love to have one like that, all original, just for the show ... :-( Well, I'll cross my fingers for you, hope it's worth getting ...

Garry, I'm sorry to tell you But, the Banits car was a 79. I looked it up on the net and got some info on it before I looked at the car. A 73 had a different front end, and headlamps were different also. Sorry

Sorry to tell you, the film came out in 77 ... how can it be a 79? Got this off of the http://www.bandit-online.de web page:
Quote:
Für diesen Film hat man einen schwarzen 1977 Trans Am mit Targadach und "Screaming Chicken" gewählt.

(For this movie, they selected a black 1977 Trans Am with T-Tops and "Screaming Chicken".)

Here's the Internet Movie Database entry:
http://us.imdb.com/Title?0076729

German standard garage I guess ... big enough for "usual" german cars, but get something bigger like 5/7 series beemer, or big Mercedes, or a puny little Camaro, and you have a problem ... why do you think I put up a piece of carpet on the left side, a construction on the right (2x4" square frame w/carpet) and thin plastic thing at the back to show me how far I can drive in ... (could do without the thing on the right by now ...)

Hey Garry, what would the authorities say if you widened your garage? Is that allowed, and would you have to pay some serious taxes?
