Actually if you really think about it, my car should be quicker, I just do not like to rev it to the moon like some people do:) Maybe when I do the heads and get some stiffer springs I will rev it up there........[/quote]
Why should your car be quicker other than the cam, headers? I am shifting@ 6500 that is nothing for this high tech engine. I would go higher if I could? A4 man emailed me? If he pays shipping I may do it. Thanks

Well I would think that my cam, headers and high flow cats, loudmouth and my supsension mods would make me quicker. I was shifting at 5600 so maybe I should shift higher huh.. man that is almost 1,000rpms.... Hmmm how quick could I be?

You could cut almost 2/10 because that is where I was gaining on you during your shifts. Power that cam helped you I was not able to pull on you like I did last time in Bitburg?

George run it to the limit thats why I moved my rev limiter!!! This engine is good for 6600 in stock form you do not bend push rods until valve float and I know it is higher than 6600. I thought you put new springs in though so you should be good for 6800? Ok 6600 for sure!!!

I was wondering on one that also. My Ed Wright custom PCM came in the mail today and is installed! I can now shift at 6200 instead of bouncing all over the rev-limiter at 5800. Too bad I cant try it out cuz I have QRF and I cant leave post. I will now know how fast I am going as I can now plug in my speedo.

Well I am sure your power is higher rpm the way it sounds? I would raise shift points 100rpm at a time and find the magic spot. Did you install new springs valve float could junk a few push rods and rockers if you are lucky. I had a stock cam when it happened to me. I am not saying it can not do it just dont do it all at once!!!

Bone stock. Yes. Not for long. I will get the finances situated and then do some schooling.

The only people wearing helmets were the cars that "think" they are fast but overheat if they are run for mor than 10 minutes. You know the one's that are trailered everywhere.
