Garry could you email the people registered to the board and inform them of this event. Maybe they do not look at the board like some of us, or really work hard. Just a thought.

Quote: How many do you need? No tellin', Roy, what do you think? I guess we will need some 40-50 at least to set up a decent AutoX ... Road course would need a couple, too, though not quite as many ... for a first event, we can go for a smaller autox, maybe twice the size of the Bitburg slalom ... Quote: Gary did Tony give you the other OSL info?
He gave me a set of copies from an NHRA mag, which I guess is what you mean ... I already typed off the tech specs, which I will put with the OSL pages soon ... I will be putting a signup page up, too ...
If we have our organizational homework done, I'll be going down in Fulda and reserve the field ... I'll also hack together a little flyer and have a couple guys from work put 'em up or forward them to local/regional car clubs ...
One thing we may want to do is set up a limit for the number of cars driving in the events ... Sembach is already pretty tight when there are 20+ cars there ... and that is only AutoX ... quarter mile will be quicker, but still ... I guess we can be satisfied if we get some 20 or 30 cars there - 40 might be the maximum number for a one day event ...
Bruce, did you get my mail?

Did not get any mail. I do not have 40 that I could carry in the Hawk. I can get 40-50 though depends on FP level. We need the little orange cones not the big orange cones they will damage cars. How long is the road corse? would we be able to set up the tree in the same place for all 3 events with minor tweaking. We need to keep it simple I think You need to get Tony up there to look at it.

The field is some 100x500 meters or a bit more, with two or three connections to the landing strip ... should be possible to put the timing equippement up in a way to us it for at least the road course and the quarter ... the landing strip isn't wide enough for the AutoX, though ...
If Tony has the time, he can come up ... just let me know ahead of time so I can put it in my schedule ...

I had a very lazy reading feeling. I figured I'm pressed for time so I figured I would just ask and check it out later. I'm going to try and be there work permitted. And the way my shift runs it'll fall dead smack on that day. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for some good planning. I really need to hit the track atleast once this year.

Hello Bruce,
what´s about a little race in Fulda?
We will be there.
Do we drive at OSL in Fulda with street tires or slicks?
You have been right with the Clutch and the shifter, both work well now. I´m an idiot driving around the whole year like this. - Thanks again.
Volker and Inge

P.S. - been talking to Tony yesterday, we may still end up making this a two-day event (i.e., 6th and 7th of October), with more testing and more runs, partly depending on the number of people showing up ... this will be decided real soon, and based on the echo we get from the people ... so make sure you let us know ...

You might be able rent one at outdoor rec. I know a couple people with motorcycles here also. So I should have a couple spares with me on race day.
