I know. He won't be here next year. He will be taking my place to watch from the side lines. I'll bring his car out for a few Hawk sightings though. The NX should be running strong by next season if I can get the tranny to hold up. Maybe a little match race between you and I next May?

I'm down for what ever. The project is moving nicely. Engine is in the machine shop as we speak. I should have the engine here by November. $2700 has already been paid to the builder.

Cosmetics are being worked as well. Just bought new cowl hood, bedliner / new tonneau cover. Paint shop sometime before october.

Turbo will be nice & big and tranny has already been built to withstand 600hp.

So we'll see if I can pull it all together by May.

Sounds like it's going to put down some awesome numbers. I should have read this post before I replied to the other one. I thought you already had the motor done. I will be running a 346 with forged pistons and rods, ported LS6 heads, 4400 rpm converter, bigger cam, and a 200 shot. Of course I have to use the nitrous. I can't have a car called the NX without it. The only short coming I will have is the tranny. I don't want to pay the core charge over here. I hope it holds for one or two passes.
