Yeah, I haven't really posted much on there yet though. It'd be nice if some of those guys showed up there. The more muscle the more fun.

Chris,

due to some unfortunate reasons the Z is not up and running right now  I don't think I'll be able to get it running that quick, if I do I'll let you know I'll meet you guys at the track.

I was thinking Vogelweh gas station, as I know I'm gonna need fuel before heading out. Would that work for everyone?

Do you plan on staying there both days? Don't know what the weather will do on Sunday, (forecasts aren't too nice), but we could cruise the Rhön some on Sunday ... not sure if I'm home Sat/Sun, but give me a call @0171 6952153 ...

Personally, I'm coming back tomorrow night. I have to be at a friend's baby's baptising, and that's something I don't want to miss!

German Race Wars ROCKED!!!!! it is without a doubt one of the best events ever... and it wasn't just because I RACED THE FIREHAWK... thats right guys Hawk let ME race his car... I damn near SH*T myself when the nos kicked in but what a rush... I won't tell you what times I got but lets just say that Susan was driving Tim's Mustang, a 12 second car and she is walking around right now with her head held high... But I kicked her but off the line... so lets just leave it at that... LOL Oh and for some of you back yard mechanics WHAT NOT TO DO WHILE FIXING YOUR CAR!!!!
IF YOU THINK YOUR CAR IS "He said POOP"...USING A TOILET BRUSH PROBABLY WON'T FIX THE PROBLEM,,, for more information of this subject check with Chris, I think he wrote the manual on this one...
P.S. Just in case you forgot I LINDA GOT TO DRIVE HAWKS CAR DOWN THE TRACK...

Linda wasn't kidding when she said that Race Wars rocks. It was awesome. It was like street racing in a controlled area with a little organization. The lights sucked, the timers were totally inaccurate, the track was rough as hell, but it was a lot of fun. The weather was terrible, cold as a witches t*t and windy, especially on Saturday. WHERE IS OUR SUMMER????? Ran once with my top down and Jack as a passenger (would have done more but it was too cold.). A TV crew from a station in Erfurt was there and took a lot of video of all of us, including taping a race between Hawk and I (He gave me a pretty good head start). The crowd loved all of our cars and Nick's car was a total hit, especially after Hawk laid one of his nitrous bottles in the back. The crowd formed instantly. Anyway, we'll definitely go back. I highly recommend it.

For all you guys that missed it. DA CHIT WAS DA BOMB! We were treated like stars over there. We all placed in the show and shine w/out even trying! They want us to come back w/ more of our muscle and I plan on doing it again in Aug if not sooner.

Just a reminder because me and Jack can speak on it. Fill up once you get there because if you don't you are screwed on the way home if plan on leaving around 4 in the morning. We both damn near ran out of gas looking for a gas station that accepted coupons. Also don't take a exit UNLESS you know you have 1/2 a tank. Because to get back on the autobahn is at least 20 clicks down the road NO LIE! Ask us we know!

Oh yeah the after hrs show was a nice thing too. Would've been more I'm sure but the weather played a factor in that I'm certain.

Track did suck but so what?! LOL! We were stars for a wkend. Hey did you guys get a disc from the event Bruce?

We had a great time for sure, even when i had to spend some extra time working on the car
The track was full of bumps, uphill and slippery, the timing system and the staging inaccurate, so from the motorsport aspect it wasn´t as good as Bitburg - but like said before: who the hell cares?!
If I have two good looking girls dancing right over the tree i don´t look on the times anyway. And slow cars (i didn´t race btw) like that winged calibra still got skulldraged ( (c) Bruce), so thats OK.
It seemed like very much people there never saw an F-Body and the club was really the star of the show - the people walked over the whole field (400m?) just to have a look on the cars, we had the banner mounted good visible on a fence, i think we did some good representation, hehe.
And next to John´s camaro every riced-out Opel looked even more ridiculous.
Friday night - when we were awake till sunrise - some people told me the fastest time was 12.4 and that was sooo incredible fast nobody will beat that. Well, Bruce ran a 11.6 first the other day and the crowd cheered like crazy.
What i really liked is that so many people stayed overnight and if the weather would have been a bit better there would have been even more party going on (Did i mention the good looking GoGos?), so from the whole "event" aspect it was just great.

I will put pics/videos online as soon as i get them from Marc!

And that guy will give me a call as soon as the VideoCD is finished, so i can make copies for all of you (he already called me yesterday...).

Thanks John, but it was pretty pretty stupid $hit LOL

When i told a friend yesterday that i was at the "German Race Wars" he asked if i fought in World War II, i look so young...

I think nobody thought about the second meaning of Race (or didn´t know English well enough...) when they invented that name.
